When the first Christian Musician Summit (CMS) was held four years ago at a little church near Tacoma , WA , Roland was one of only a few sponsors. “It was just a few of us with some tables in the lobby of a church,” recalls Roland clinician Corey Fournier. “But from the start there was a unique energy and I could tell that this wasn’t just another worship seminar. I look forward to coming back each year.”

Since that first year, the Summit has outgrown two locations and has become a huge worship music seminar and festival with dozens of exhibits, workshops, and performances by major artists. Roland will be there again as well, offering interactive classes and hands-on opportunities for worship keyboardists, drummers, guitarists, and tech teams. “CMS offers a great chance for people to get practical experience with the gear and personalized training from our team,” says Roland’s Northwest Territory Manager, Mike Smith. “It’s like a mini NAMM show for churches!”

This year’s Summit is in Redmond, WA, on Nov. 10 th and 11 th and features classes on a myriad of topics including Worship Keyboard Skills for the 21 st Century, Electronic Percussion and the Silent Stage, and CD’s, Godcasting, and Beyond. There’s also a special Songwriters Bootcamp event on Nov. 9th.
