Class A

This lead patch illustrates how smooth the SH-201 filters sound, and their ability to closely emulate analog circuitry. This highly expressive sound offers two different attacks, depending on the player's legato technique.

Daft Lead

The SH-201 can sound rough too! This patch relies on hard-synced oscillators. Four oscillators in total — two panned on the right, two on the left — giving the sound punch, while at the same time a spacious feel.

Air Lead 1

A beautiful lead sound, this classic patch was used extensively in 20th-century electrojazz records.

Trancefloor

A fat sonic stack, relying on heavily detuned Super Saw oscillators. A slow portamento activates when playing legato, allowing the performer to create sliding effects between octaves.

Vangelead

Analog at its best again, with this layer of two lead sounds. An useful sound for electronic bands.

SupaJuice 1

The Lead sound for thirsty players, or another sonic attempt to define what "juicy" means, this time applied to a lead sound!

Ambient SQR

An atmospheric lead sound built around a square waveform that floats into the SH-201's lush reverb.
