A varied and talented singer/songwriter, Sheena Loza has lived a life colored by music. A native of Southern California, Sheena has traveled extensively during her career. At age five she began performing with her mother, a recording artist, and they would go on to tour together for another 20 years. Comfortable with a variety of genres of music, Sheena has sung back-up vocals for Latin groups Diego Gonzales and Pee Wee, as well as singing with various blues and rock bands.
Amy Surratt was born and raised in Southern California and has been singing her entire life. Amy is a recent graduate from Biola University earning her degree in Music with an emphasis in Voice. She currently teaches private voice lessons, and works at Seacoast Grace church running the Youth Worship Band. On top of leading worship for the youth programs, she also sings on the adult worship team on the weekends as well.
Sarah has been playing guitar and singing for 5 years. She attended Musicians Institute in 2008 to further her music education/goals. During her time there, she formed a band called Souliance who play original music ranging from Latin jazz to classic rock. They have performed around Los Angeles and are currently working on a demo CD.
Ruby Biloskirka-Conley is a professional touring and session keyboardist. After graduating from Berklee College of Music with a major in piano performance, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the music Industry. Currently Ruby can be found accompanying artists and performing live around LA. In addition, Ruby has performed on TV and Film Sessions.
One of today’s most compelling and versatile drummers, Didi Negron, was born into a family of musicians and has been performing for most of her life. Originally from New Jersey, Didi received her training at the Berklee College School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts with a major in performance. While primarily a percussionist, she is also versed as a singer, composer and saxophonist. Didi hopes that her unbridled passion for music will be an inspiration to others.
I started playing drums at the age of 12 and got my first drum set that same year. I started out learning at a Latin music school with my two older sisters, and several years later, I taught myself how to play rock music. I love playing drums because it allows me to be creative and to express myself using different beats and different sounds.
Shelby Spalione is a former lead singer of Disney’s all-girl pop band KSM inspired by the Go-Go’s. Seventeen-year-old Spalione has toured with the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato, in addition to landing a top 10 single on iTunes. She has already appeared on ABC Family, MTV, Disney Channel and Radio Disney.
Charlotte Caffey is a songwriter and musician best known as the guitarist for the groundbreaking all-female rock band, the Go-Go’s. Caffey wrote the 1980s smash single, “We Got the Beat,” which appeared on Beauty and the Beat, and will be a part of the Girl Scouts Rock! curriculum.
